Lost USB Flash Drive using Bitlocker, is it easy to crack my password?
Hi there, firstly i am sorry if this is the wrong forum. ok so to my problem, my usb flash drive managed to break off my keys somewhere so i have lost it. i have used Bitlocker to Go to encrypt it and password protect the drive. If somebody finds the drive how easy would it be to crack the password? The password is 8 characters including capitals and symbols thank you for your time.

The only way to attack BitLocker to Go encryption would be by brute force guessing the password. So if your password is weak and the finder is determined it is possible. Otherwise I would not be concerned.Ray - Author of Windows 7 for XP Professionals
