Lost Admin Password
Okay, listen up please... help. I have bought a new computer, however, I gave my old computer away. The plot thickens when after one year of keeping the old computer in storage, I completely forgot to remember the password before I gave the computer away. Therefore, the person I gave the computer to, has to use the computer on the "guest" side. How is the person able to retrieve, crack, remove or change the password from the guest side? Will it be simpler to just boot the OS once again from a CD from Microsoft and can this be done on the guest side? Everything that we have tried, needs the permission of the Admin. When I had the computer (as I do with all of my computers), I make sure that anyone who uses the computer is not allowed to download anything at all unto the computer without my expressed permission. Therefore, is there a way, that this person will be able to become the Admin of his own computer some day, a computer of which I gave to him? Yikes!!! Help please..

Thank you, this is the one that worked - the second one down from the top! It erased my password and he was able to enter as the Admin. Thank you so very much and many blessings unto you for your assistance! Lisa N. Oliver-Johnson
