I had Windows 8 on my desktop and since I spend a Windows 8.1 I lost the conection a network mapping


example:

I work in a folder on my network map, when I go to another job and I leave it open at least 15 minutes later, when I come back I get a message that tells me connection is lost on file and I can not not save my file

I already tested it and it does not work

Your local dns is ok? Can you ping the pc (that your are going to map) correctly?

Do you see anything in event logs ?

Also, can  you continuous ping the destination server and check if there are packet drops?

This issue is abnormal, as Arnav Sharma said, we can check if there is any related event log to describe it, also, lets test in Clean Boot mode to check if this issue persists.
