Loss of Power
Need some assistance. My computer is 5 years old, battery pack no longer is active, only use power from outlet. My problem is: after turning on my computer, after 5 minutes, it automatically shuts off (complete loss of power). I have to unplug the power cable from the computer, re-insert it and turn on the computer again. I normally have to do this 2 to 3 times before it finally stops turning off like this. What can I do to solve this? Buy another electrical plug for the computer? or is there a short in my computer's electrical terminal? Thanks for you assistance....1 person needs an answerI do too

Thanks for the reply "ducdive". So far the only thing that is happening is unexpected loss of power, like 5 minutes after I turn on the computer. If I let it "warm up" for 15 minutes afterward, it seems to work fine. But I have a good feeling that my power cord has a short in it. Where can I find a replacement? are they expensive to buy? Thanks again...
