Losing Hard Drive Space
I am inexplicably losing hard drive space. The amount I have is continually dropping no matter what I do. I have tried all suggestions I've seen so far: virus scan, spyware, deleting system restore, etc. Nothing seems to work. This is not a new system, but a new problem. The only change I have made recently is to move from connecting my modem with a USB cable to using the Ethernet. Here's something else. If I engage Internet Lock on my firewall, the loss of space seems to cease. I am barely computer literate, so I don't know where to go from here. Any other suggestions to make this stop?3 people need an answerI do too

Any other suggestions to make this stop?I have recently bought a new desktop from Dell with windows 7. I find my hard drive space depleting by 1 gb every couple of days. I have contacted Dell and they tell me this is a adherent problem with windows 7 as it happens when it updates are placed on my computer from Microsoft. Along with this windows 7 registers auto set points of data in time which would be used to reboot the system to if a failure happened. I want to know is there any way to stop this from happening on my computer. I do have a hefty hard drive space but why waste space if its not required. Thanks in advance.
