Lose wireless connection after windows update
My netbook runs perfectly. Wireless connection fine and so on. After an automatic download of the current windows 7 update and reboot I seem to lose the wireless connection although the signal is strong.
I then have to perform a system restore to a previous date in order to get the connection back.
This is becoming very annoying. Is there anything I can do or has anyone had a similar issue?
Please help.

Hi,
I would like to confirm which update caused this issue. Is it a driver update. I suggest installing driver update from the manufacturer's website.
You can also reinstall the driver as Diego mentioned:
1. Click Start, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar and press Enter.
2. Expand "Network adaptor".
3. Right click on your
network card and then click
Uninstall
4. Remove the driver software at the same time.
After that, restart the computer and reinstall the network card driver.
