Lose connectivity to VM on laptop when disconnected from network
Hi,I have a laptop with a Windows 2003 virtual machine (VPC 2007) with IIS 6.0 hosting a website for testing and development.Using Dreamweaver and browsing to the site from the XP laptop (VM host) works fine when the network cable is plugged in.Interestingly it will work but VERY slowly when plugged into an empty network switch. The VM has the laptop adapter selected for it to work. I tried using a loopback cable and this did not work. I also tried adding the MS Loopback Adapter but had no luck with that when setting the Virtual to use it.Please can I have any suggestions, the laptop user wants to work on this website with the VM when away from a network connection.Thankyou,Tom1 person needs an answerI do too
