Loosing network connectivity completely when someone touched the shared folder
Hi, I had somenetwork problemwith Vista RC2. I have a Windows 2003 DC which have AD and i did join Vista RC2 machine to the AD domain. After to do that, i just shared only one folder which includes some .exe files. When another computer tried to access this shared folder Vista RC2 has lost the network connection completely, after restart it is working correctly. RC2 behave the same for another shared folders too. I did every network tuning about this but didnt help. I didn't have same problem when i was using Vista RC1. Does anyone got and solve it? Hi Ayhan, I have had a similar problem. I set up a shared folder on an XP SP2 machine on my network, and then attempted to transfer a large amount of data (about 7GB) to the XP machine from a Vista RC2 machine. After a few minutes, the network connection died, and the XP machine starting having problems launching applications, and i had to cold boot it (i could still move the mouse etc, but the thing wouldn't reboot or shutdown no matter how i tried to do it). This only happens with transfers involving the Vista machine. Thanks.
