Loosing network connections
Hi. I have a shared dir on My laptop that I want to access from my workstation. This will sometimes work but mostly it doesnt.Laptop is member of Domain A and Workstation is member of Domain B. This is because the laptop is a private computer used in my home domain and the workstation is a company computer that is member of the company domainWhen I connect my laptop to the company network I nead to access the shares from my Workstation. If I delete all network connections using "NET USE <share> /DELETE" on my workstation, to make sure no connectaions are declared then, if i'm lucky, I manage to connect to my Win7 computer . Workstation is runnign Vista btw.So, where is the problem? Can the laptop be a member of multiple domains?RegardsOle Morten Heien

Hi, Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please check the relationship of the Domain A and Domain B. Are they trusted? 2. In your companys domain, you may be able to logon to it since you are already a member of Domain A. So, at time, I would like to know how you logon to your companys network. 3. As you mentioned that you could not access the resources on the company network, may I know the detail error you received? Thanks.Nicholas Li - MSFT
