Loopback adapter with Windows virtual PC
Hi I have win7 home premium and windows virtual PC installed. I have configured a XP machine and a 2k3 server in the 2 virtual PCs. I want to create the network connection between the 2 virtual pcs and host machine. I'm not in any LAN. Just Isolated network only to these three machines. I have tried NAT, internal network and loopback also. No luck. for the both internal nw and loopback, those 2 virtual machines are connecting well and pinging good, but i cannot connect any of these 2 to host machine. I have installed loopback in host machine only and selected the loop back adapter in the both virtual machine network settings. both virtual machines are connecting but not the host. i have given the static IP in both virtual machines and host machine just as below. host machine loop back adapter says "Unidentified network" VM1: 10.0.0.1/255.0.0.0 VM2: 10.0.0.25/255.0.0.0 host loopback: 10.0.0.26/255.0.0.0. I don't know where the problem is. Some body can help. Also i have another question, in the windows virtual PC, may i install win2k3 servers and make a DC and all.?

Hi Vijaymurugappa, Thanks for the post! Based on your description, I suggest you check the Windows Firewall settings on your host, check if it blocks the connection.
