Long ago saved pictures are changing content on drive.

I was told by MS Community  to re-post this here, so...

Funny, most of my o/s problems have many others experiencing the same,
but I seem to be alone on this one. My latest un-google-able MS issue is
not in any forum I could find & I use quite a few, with all my Windows problems...

Windows(?) is now changing many saved pictures on my drives, & it's not the drive
w/ W8.1 Pro 64 on it, it's a separate data HDD.
Some .jpgs I have saved as part of complete sets have later changed to copies of
pictures on other drives.  The name stays the same but the content is of another pic,
from somewhere else on my system.
Oddly most of the impostors are from a wallpaper folder on my boot SSD array,
but not always. This happens to many pics in different directories on one of my

ICH10R RAID1 data arrays, the one I use for pictures.
Some of the incorrect content seems to have come from video frames as well - this is truly
weird and I have not a clue as to how to fix, or even go about troubleshooting this
latest unresolved W8 problem of which I have so many.
Although many problems have arisen since 8 & 8.1 upgrades none have been this serious

or this troubling.

Besides the well discussed 'insomnia while on MS account but local works fine' issue that
continues to perplex me and sooo many others, I also get these Events...

1:     NvStreamSvc; The description for Event ID 1 from source NvStreamSvc cannot be found
36:    Time Service
131:   Metadata staging failed....for container '0x80070490' ...of which the container

                   is always the same.
513:   CAPI2; Cryptographic Services failed... Access is denied.
10010: DistributedCOM

Also, although I have fixed the same innocuous CBS.log issue before, sfc scan repeatedly shows
the false corrupt flagging of these .json files on each new scan, as described here...

http://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/14217-telemetry-asm-windowsdefault-json.html
  ...says...

""When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are
unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or actual corruption on a
device running this update, and a later service update will resolve this issue.""

So that should not be a problem.  Right ?  No Malware, Bitdefender A/V scans fine.
Also 3 more sfc scans have been subsequently clean with the above noted .json files exception.

Here's the full log file...

https://www.dropbox.com/s/fgkxflxnfe5i0oy/CBS.log?dl=0

One thing I notice that seems weird is the CBS.log has many references to AMD CPU
architecture, when I actually have an Intel i5-650 in an Asus P7P55D Deluxe m/b w/12g Ripjawz CL7
booting from the ICH10R Raid1 Vertex4 SSDs. I see no reference to Intel CPU architecture in there.

I don't think it's the raid controller cause some of the errant picture content comes from
picture & video files on other, non Raid drives, even using different m/b controllers.

No takers so far on this one ?  If So, Thanks.
Anyone have any ideas - All input is appreciated.
