Logon to multiple domains in windows 7
Hi, I have multiple domains in my network, for example domain A and B. if i join a computer using windows 7 to domain A, this makes domain A the default login domain. Is there a way i can have it so if a given account is not found in domain A then it will look in domain B and if it finds it then login using domain B? I just don't want the users in domain B to have to type B/UserName to login. Any suggestions? Thanks, Juan Franco

There is nothing built into the logon process where the computer will attempt to log into various domains if a logon attempt fails for the domain the user tried to logon to. This is, of course, one of the draw backs of having a multiple domain design. There are products such as Microsoft ILM that can be used to syncronize objects between domains.
