I've been running Windows 7 RC1 for the past week and everything has generally been OK until yesterday when I started receiving an error message when starting up and shutting down. On startup, before I get to the login screen, I get an error Window with a titleof LogonUI.exe System Error, the error message says " The progtam can't start because Vaultcli.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing program.Any ideas ?

Couple of things to check here asyou started getting this error now. 1. Which third party softwarehave youinstalled recently, something like Migo Digital vault which has the same binary names whichMS vault has? 2. Vaultcli.dll should be present in system32 folder as this is getting installed as part of Windows foundation.

also - could you confirm that you are able to logon the box in safe mode. ..tom
