Everytime I go to log into Windows 7 Professional I have to type in my domain with the username, not just username even when i just do a plain restart. it always reverts back to trying to log into the local account not the domain account example domain\user

yes it is on the network and all resources work correctly. Every time I log in I cannot just put in the user name I have to put domain \ username

When the log in screen comes up it says Log on to: and shows the domain and as soon as i type in the 'r' for administrator it switches the Log on to: the machine name instead of the domain name
