I have a laptop user that will be working from different remote sites. In XP you had the option to use DUN/VPN first and then you can log into the domain with separate credential than the VPN endpoint. With Vista if I use the switch user method on the logon screen and log into the VPN it also tries to use those credentials for the domain. The VPN device has its own authentication separate from the AD. How do I restore the loss of functionality Vista has? I need to first connect to the VPN device and authenticate so I make the network connection. I then need vista to offer the actual logon for the computer/domain.
