LogIn asks for HP_Administrator Password
My aunt is running Windows Media Center on her computer. I turned on the computer as usual and the usual login screen came up but it asked for the HP_Administrator Password to access the computer. There are two accounts on the computer that have full administrative rights and neither password for either account will work. I tried to boot the computer in Safe Mode but the same screen came up asking for the same thing. I have tried researching the problem on the internet, but I have gotten no useful information. There have been no recent installations of any program on the computer. I cannot find a way to get around putting in the password. I know running a full system restore and wipe will allow access to the computer but I would rather not lose all of the information on the computer. Are there any other options? Is there something I should try?3 people need an answerI do too

Log into the other administrator account. Then, you can go to Control Panel > User Accounts and change or remove the HP_Administrator password.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
