Hi, We do not recommend to use third party tools to recover administrator password. It may cause expected issue. If you forget the administrator password and don't have a password reset disk or another administrator account, you won't be able to reset the password. Please refer: What to do if you forget your Windows password Thank you for your understanding. If you Reinstall without formatting the drive you wont lose your files. They will be placed in a folder Windows.old. However it my be worth looking in your local business directory as a Specialist Computer Centre that advertise may be able to assist. Some Specialist Repairers would use the Technet Subscription for the software and tools that provides and to learn the products. There is a product that can be used called DaRT and this can unlock an Administrator account password from the CD. This tool can only be accessed and used with the Subscription or a MDOP agreement through Microsoft Software Assurance. But if you can find someone with it then it saves a rebuildLee Bowman MCITP MCTS
