Locked out of my C Drive
From what I can find this has to do with Homegroups. I was trying to fix Outlook, said something about turning off links by the administrator. Apparently I screwed up the homegroups and am now locked out of everything. I tried safemode, I tried Safemode with a prompt to create an administrator account. I've tried to do a system restore. I can't do anything. When I try to do a recovery (or restore) it tells me there isn't enough disk space. And nothing, I mean nothing will let me restore myself as rightful owner of this computer. What the H*** am I supposed to do????

Well you could do like one guy did and there are several other suggestions that worked for one guy, but the way I see it, hope you have a backup and ready to reinstall from scratch again - sorry But look through here and see what you think. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/a6218f71-2e26-4106-82c7-9f7fd6f528e1 That person had the identical problem you did, I would think it will be a valuable lesson to not do that again whatever it was you did (always backup before doing any repairs) it's known as Murphy's Law, sure as shootin you don't back up, it'll bite you in the posterier, or wishing you could kick yourself there for not doing it ;) MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message.
