To choose the connection to use, you should change metrics in the route table. This is a link that will help you to configure your windows route table: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/route.mspx?mfr=true (Here I suppose that each of your network card is connected to a different network) Example of the commands that you can use: You are going to connect to a VPN server (ip address 193.95.66.20) and you want to use your wireless card to do it. Let's suppose that you gateway address for this card is 192.168.2.1. You are also going to connect to Internet and you want to use a LAN card and your gateway in this case is 10.0.0.1. To obtain that, you can type the following commands: route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 10.0.0.1 metric 20 route add 193.95.66.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.1 metric 10 Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi, Ethernet connection is stable, but you need to connect to a router with a physical network cable. Wireless connection is much more convenient. Both Ethernet and wireless network connections need a DSL modem or a router. Bluetooth connection is also one kind of wireless connections, but the signal coverage is around 10M generally and the network speed is lower. If you want to use it to connect to the Internet, no router is needed, you just need a mobile phone which can support Bluetooth and Internet. At that point, I will use Ethernet or wireless connections for general Internet usage and only use Bluetooth connection when no sufficient Internet resource is available. For more information, please read the following Microsoft articles: Start here to set up a network Connect to Bluetooth and other wireless or network devices 10 tips for improving your wireless network Hope the above information is helpful!
