Local Storage Fails when added to trusted sites list
Hi, I have windows 7 Pro x64, and IE8. I use a website that uses LocalStorage to store users data on the local machine. When I add the site to my trusted sites list (to get round the silly "c:\fakepath" change in ie8) the browser can not see ANY previously stored localstorage data for the website. There is no error, the storage is just empty. When I remove the site from the trusted sites list, the data returns as normal? Any ideas Many Thanks, Joe.

Hi, Can you provide the LocalStorage website link to me for a test? What do you mean to get round the silly "c:\fakepath" change in Internet Explorer 8 after adding the site to Trusted zone? At this stage, I suggest you Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings and add the website to Trusted Zone in IE8 again. If the issue persists, please capture the LocalStorage website window and upload it for research. Thanks, Novak
