Local Services Access Denied
I need to change one of my local Services so it automatically starts, it is now disabled. When I try to do that, I get the error "access denied". This is a local computer where I have administrator rights, it's my own computer that is not part
of any domain. I am using Windows 7 Pro.

Hi,
Could you specify which service it is? Does it work before?
Please understand some services can not be changed which is by design.

Dooger,
In addition to Magon's post can you try the follow the next steps to change the start mode of your service.
1. click on the windows start button (the windows orb)
2. in the search field directy above the windows orb type "Services.msc"
3. Right click on the services.msc and choose the option run as administrator.
4. Look for the properties of service you want to change.
5. Change the startup mode. And click OK.
If this doesn't work for you. Do as Magon say's: tell us witch service you try to change, if it worked before, and in a command prompt peform the command Whoami /All and post the output here.
Kind Regards
