Local Only Connection In Vista!!!
I am using an HP dv6000 Laptop with Vista 32 bit. I used it just two days ago to upgrade my AVG to 2012 edition. After a LOT of hassle and removing a small corurpt file from AVG 2011, i got AVG 12 on. The ni restarted comp to finish install and all was well. Being 3 am, i went to bed. I wake up the next morning and wala, no internet. Ive tried it at 2 different homes now and neither works!! I'm stuck on local only connection while it says identifying. I know this is a common issue but i cant fix it. I've been at it for two days!! Im not an expert, but ive never had a comp issue i couldnt deal with after a bit of research and effort, but this is stomping my ass. I've tried all i could find, is there something new/..??? I ran diskcheck as well and nothing improved xc help...me...
