Local Only-Unidentified Network-Wireless only connection-cannot connect through wired connections
Info: Asus m2n32 Delux Wireless motherboard 2 ethernet adaptors and 1 wireless on board. This is the second time I had this issue doing a clean install of Vista 64. I cannot get the wired adaptors to connect to the internet only the wireless. Things that I tryed. 1. disable tcp/ipv6 protocal 2. unistalled all adaptors and software 3. did ipconfig release/renew 4.read a hundred post with no luck 5.tried netish commands 6.tried to set up reg with disable tcp/ivpg commands I did a Vista32 ultimate upgrade the first day Vista was releaced from XP pro. Everything has been running great no matter what I did I could get everything running as good as new withoutdoing a new install. I dicided to do a clean install to Vista 64 since there are drivers now for most of the system hardware and software. When rebooting my connection (wired) worked fine and said Local and Internet. So I know it's not my 2wire modem. As soon as I installed my wireless drivers and turn it on good by wired connection. XP I could use any of my adaptors to connect to the internet and setup and manage networks, when doing a upgrade from XP to Vista everything worked great. Now this sucks. I love a challange but this one is nuts. I don't want to do my 3rd Clean install to get my wired connections working again, so if anyone has any ideas HELP. Tons of people are having the same trouble but there is no answers to fix it from Microsoft.
