Local Drive and Bitlocker
Hallo all,I've encrypted my D: drive with bitlocker, now I am havingproblemswhen accessing the driver. With every boot I have to fill in the password. I would like to set my passwordand the my machine automatically unlock the drive but that optionis grayed out.I also would like toencrypt my other (C:) drive, but I can't find that option. For the record, I love the option to encrypt my flash drive. But I've some question on that. Is it possible to encrypt a part of my flash drive. So I can place my mp3 on the non encrypted section, so that the radio in my car can read these mp3. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but BitLocker is covered in the Vista forums http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsvistaitpro/And from what I've read(don't use it myself)BitLocker is designed to use a password or a flash stick to secure the drive, so it sounds like it's operating the way its designed to.EDIT: I did some checking and you still can encrypt folder/files (right click on the folder/file, click on properties, then click on advanced, and the bottom option is encrypt folder/file.)But that I know of you can't tell BitLocker to encrypt X amount of the drive, from what I've heard its an all or nothing kind of thing with BitLocker
