Local Drive C has changed to a wirless infrastructure network (icon is now Portable USB wireless device) - how can I change it back.
I recently attempted to add (wireless) a new modem / router to my computer. The network program that came with the modem caused a problem and I could not connnect either to the modem or to the router. I am not sure if I inadvertantly changed my Local Drive C to a wireless infrastructure network or whether the networking program did this but the Local Drive C now has a Portable USB wireless device icon. I would like to know how to reverse this. I do not want me Local Drive C to act as any type of network device. 1 person needs an answerI do too
