Local Area Connection automatically assigns DNS Server
Hi, IPv4 DNS is Automatically being filled in with 216.146.35.35 ( Prefered ) & 216.146.36.36 (Alternate) I Check "Obtain DNS Server address automatically" but when I go back and view the properties later, " Use the following DNS server addresses:" is check and filled in with 216.146.35.35 ( Prefered ) & 216.146.36.36 (Alternate). The Connection is set to obtain an IP Address Automatically and is joined to a SBS 2008 Domain, and occasionally to connects to other Domains ( not joined). All are DHCP.This issue doesnt happen when starting up off the network. It also appens to the Wireless Network Connection.

Check you group policy objects. You may have something linked in the structure that is configuring your DNS settings and overriding DHCP settings. Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
