Local Area/Wireless Network Connection doesn't have valid IP Configuration.
I recently encountered above problem when connecting my personal ASUS netbook to our office network. I used to be able to do so without any issue until yesterday. My other colleagues have been able to do so without problem. I tried resetting the adapters and rebooting. I also tried to stop Bonjour services. ipconfig /renew didn;t work as well. Another thing, I don'have this issue when I am connecting to my wireless network at home.

I would suggest that you contact the system administrator for the office network and confirm the correct settings to access the network. SSID and password. Perhaps you need to update the drivers for the wireless adapter in your computer. Does the wireless adapter support the security protocol being used on the office network?

Hi, If your problem just happened with the special network, It should be caused by the setting between your laptop and the wireless device. I suggest that you may run CMD, then type the command ”ip config -all”, press enter. Copy the result or take a screenshot, and post here. I understand that this may be a lot of information to ask for at one time. However, by collecting this information now, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution. The following step is to help you to get a screenshot for us that we think would be helpful. How to capture a screenshot ====================== 1. Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard when the error appears. 2. Click "Start", type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3. In the Paint program, click the "Edit", click "Paste". Then click the "File" menu, and select "Save". 4. The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5. Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click "Desktop" on the left pane and then click "Save". 6. Upload the screenshot to a photo sharing site, such as SkyDrive, and post a link here. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
