Ok guys! I am having major problems and need some assistance. I am studying abroad in Paris and brought my Sony Vaio laptop which runs the dreaded VISTA... In the beginging i connected fine to the wireless connection and then one day bam it was gone... It kept saying local access only- I am dying of boredom without internet and need to fix it. I can't call support because for me it's 99 cents a minute.. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Vista is the operating system and the router is pretty new and its called a Livebox made by sagem i believe (french company)... Please help!

Try the easy things first:Switch the computer off, then switch the router off for 5 minutes. Switch on the router, wait for the lights to stabilise, then switch on the computer.
