Linksys lne100tx v5.1
Can anyone tell me how to get drivers for linksys lne100tx pci card for Windows Vista Thanks

I downloaded the 9/12/2005 driver file for the LNE100TX from the web site http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Download_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1115417109934&packedargs=sku%3D1115416833483&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper and installed the deiver for Windows 2000. I have been able to connect to my local network and to the Internet after playing around for a while. The security settings have caused me trouble! Someone else suggested the Windows 2000 drivers in another post on this site.

I too used the latest download. I didn't specify which driver to use -- I just did 'Update driver' and pointed Vista to the oemsetup.inf at the root of the driver package. It found a suitable driver which is working perfectly with no further intervention needed.

I too have the same problem with this card. Fortunately it isn't on my main machine but I have tried everything I read in this thread to get the driver installed with no success. I tried doing it through device manager selecting the "update driver software" button and then directing windows to the folder with the latest drivers from the linksys site. Is this the best way to accomplish this or is there another way I can try installing this driver so I can get on the internet with that machine? Thanks in advance.EDIT: Well I tried a couple of other things and was at least able to get the system to recognize the card but I get an error (10) saying the device cannot start. I'll try the Win2000 driver next to see if that works. I do have to say that I'm very pleased with Vista on this machine even though I've had issues with the other machine.

Used the 5.1 drivers for Windows 2000 and it worked perfect in Vista Ultimate.

Mine works prefectly using drivers for an "infineon an983b". Vista must have automatically downloaded them, but for now my lne100tx works beautifully, even thought it doesn't call itself what it really is, if that makes sense, lol.
