Link to a file unable to open it
Hi,
I send a link trough Outlook on a Windows XP machine, I can open the link but on a Windows 7 machine I can't. I receive the error : Cannot find the file....Verify the path or Internet adress
Here is an exemple to a file link from my fileserver: \\vm.dom\ns1\data\CAD\SolidWorks\file.xls

Nobody.
Another example, I'm unable to create a file on my DFS shre trough Cygwin instead I given Full Access to the User on the Share.
Is there the same problem, DFS & Windows 7 ? Because it works on Windows XP

Hi alaincar,
Please check this Hotfix:
You cannot access a DFS share through a mapped network drive on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008R2.

If no clue found, I suggest you run the Network Monitor to caputre the network traffic.
