Limited or no connectivity using Windows XP Pro with service pack 3 and have tried everything, HELP??
I have tried everything, I have pinged my IP and it sent and received all request. I have tried ipconfig and it tells me there is an internal error, but the operation was successful. When I tried to ipconfig renew, but I get the same message operation successful, but internal error. This problem began after I installed service pack 3. I've tried uninstalling my driver for the Cisco Systems PCI Wireless LAN adapter and still get limited or no connectivity When I disable the Wireless Zero Configuration and that still didn't help. I don't know what else to do, but I need my computer right now.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Alexis766, ·What is the security software installed on your computer?·Have you installed the latest and updated driver for the network adapter? Try the below methods: Method 1: Try the steps from the link: Troubleshooting network connection problems:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/maintain/troubleshoot.mspx#3(From the section "Windows XP says your network adapter has limited or no connectivity") Method 2:Reset TCP/IP protocol, you may run the fix it from the below link and check if the issue is resolved: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357 Regards:Samhrutha G S - Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
