Limited internet access
This seems like a common issue with Windows 7 with wireless internet access. I have looked and looked for hours with very little information. I have two computer systems. One is a 64-bit Windows 7 Professional IBM laptop. The other is some type of all in one HP Desktop running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. They connect to a Linksys G router. About every couple weeks the Desktop tells me that there is Limited Internet Access. I have recorded the setting and check them, and it hasn't changed. The only solution I have came up with, is by going to the Device Manager and uninstalling the Wireless Drivers. Once I restart the computer system, it ask for connection security code for the router, and then internet access is restored. The laptop had the same issues a week ago and the solution was the same. Internet Access was working fine on the desktop. The issue seems random. I don't believe it is the router. If it was the router, both computers would have failed at the same time. I see the same solution on online forums and people say it works. However, I get a feeling in a couple weeks, they will have the same problem like I am having. It seems like a temporary fix. Any updates or patches out there?

Hi, I suggest loading the latest driver of wireless adapter from computer manufacture, uninstalling the current driver/software from Device Manager, then installing the new one manually. If the issue occurs again, go to wireless adapter properties, on security tab, change the password to the current one to check the result. If there is any firmware update of the router, please install it. If not, please reset the router. Also, verify the wireless settings in router. Make sure wireless network mode is G only instead of Mixed. If possible, you can replace another router for testing.
