Limited account can't connection to internet via WiFi
I just rebuilt my XP professional OS because I got hijacked and decided to create two accounts, root (admin) and a working (Limited) account. I installed all the software using the root admin account and was able to connect to the internet via ASUS WiFi Solo Ap. I then made the root account private so the files under the root account are not accessible. I then switched to the working account (created with admin type when I was installing the OS). I setup the email and was able to browse ok. I then when to the “users accounts” icon and switched the working account to Limited and rebooted the box. When I logged in the working account I was unable to connect to the internet. WiFi said it was connected.Since then I have tried to create a new test limited account and found that it could talk to the internet fine until I reboot the box. After that it can't see the internet. In the I.E. browser I get the the diagnostic button and the wizard window says it can’t find the internet and asks if I want to use the WiFi or Ethernet port. I selected WiFi and it fails. It then asks what modem do I want to use, I selected other and it fails.I have tried to add the working account via the "Administrative Tools"->Computer Managment->System Tools->Local Users and Groups->Groups->Network Configuration Operators by adding the working account to it, but again there is no change. The ASUS WiFi-AP Solo software doesn't have any "shared by everyone" option in it. I also switched to the MS wireless zero software (its an option in the Solo software) with no effect.Hasn't anyone every created a limited account before using WiFi? What am I missing?1 person needs an answerI do too
