Limited Users can uninstall software?
Under XP, if you install software using say SCCM, a limited user would not be able to uninstall it from Add/Remove as the Change/Remove button was unavailable. With W7, it seems limited users can uninstall software from Programs and Features. Is this by design?

Hi, In Windows 7, with User Account Control (UAC) enabled, the Standard Users have no permission to install or uninstall any programs, unless they can provide the passwords of Administrator Users. You may perform the following steps to enable UAC. 1. Click the Start Button, type "User account control" and press Enter. 2. When the User account control settings box appears, move the slider to Default. 3. Click OK. Hope it helps.Arthur Li - MSFT
