I'm not sure if i'm here at the correct place.
Since a few days the light of my mute button doesn't work. The mute-function itself works perfect, but the light don't. 

I've allready reinstalled the sounddriver, but this wasn't the solution.

I've got a HP Pavilion 15-p045nd with MS Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Can you please help me?

1.It may be a driver related issue caused by IDT Audio driver update. In that case uninstalling and reinstalling or in some cases by roll back driver will help.

2. You may need to perform a hard reset.

Shut down the computer. (hold the power button down for abt. 5 seconds)

• Disconnect the AC Adapter from the notebook.
• Remove the battery.
• Wait at least 1 minute with all power sources disconnected.
• Re-insert the battery and reconnect the AC Adapter and then attempt to power on the notebook.
