Library Off-line files not working
I just purchased a Dell XPS LT and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium and I upgraded the system to Ulimate with a product key I purchased. I have my documents on a home server (Vail) and when I try to enable off-line access, that option is not in the UI (Like it would have been when installed as Home Premium. I know the off-line access works with the home server because I have serveral other systems that are using it (Windows 7 Ultimate systems, both LT and desktop). Do I need to rebuild the system to get this functionality to light up? Thanks

You can disable and then re-enable Offline Files service. If it does not work, please let us know if it works with a new user account. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi Arthur, I tried to do that and I recieved this error message when I tried to start the service "Windows could not start teh Offline Files service on Local Compter. Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified." The path is C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe and it does exist. I also created a new user and logged in with the same result. Next Steps? SeanSean
