Libraries folders icons show a magnifying glass icon (shows the wrong icon!)
So after installing the application WinLabels 1.0, it messed up my icons. I got everything working EXCEPT the main folders (my music, my documents, my videos, and my pictures ; However, the users directory folder still works) Now I cant seem to fix this. Do i have to reset the icon cache somehow? Please help! Thank you! http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/1605/42111716.png

As you just want to change folders' icons in Libraries, you can refer to the following link: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/6326/change-your-windows-7-library-icons-the-easy-way/ Good luck!John

Thanks for the reply. Well Ive tried that exact method. It doesnt change the icon at all. Is the magnifying glass icon (as shown in picture) default in some way for libraries because I thought it was for searches. Anyways I dont know why LibraryIconChanger wont change the icons, but it appears to be stuck as those icons.

I can't download the WinLabels 1.0, where did you get the WinLabels 1.0?What's program is used to do? As your issue just happened after installing it, you can try system restore to restore your system before the issue happened.John

I have test the program, I don't have your trouble, so you can try system restore to restore your system before the issue happened. After that, you can reinstall the program if you want, but I recommend you creating a new restore point before installing it, it’s better to reinstall in the compatible mode. 1. Right-click the exe. file and choose Properties.2. Under the Compatibility tab, please check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose "Windows XP (SP2)".3. Check the box before “Run this program as an Administrator” below.4. Click OK to save the settings.5. Follow the instruction to install the driver, and test.Good luck!John
