Libraries disappeared and cannot recreate
Hi,I have been using my Xbox 360 as a Media Center Extender for the last day. Once I began using it, all my "Libraries" disappeared from my Libraries section. I am unable to "Restore Default Libraries" this button is doing nothing and also when I click 'New Library' I get an error stating:Unable to create the file 'New Library.library-ms'Access is denied.I am not sure if having the MCX1 user being created did something and messed up the permissions of my account.Any ideas? Thanks.Edit: I am pretty sure my user account permissions are messed up, I cannot evenread/write my own user files without getting a require admin access in C:\users\Rishi\I have no idea how to fix that.

That is your problem. Your permissions are messed up. Do this to fix. Enable the local administrator account by opening an administrative command prompt (right-click and select Run as administrator) and typing net user administrator /active:yes. Close, log off and log in as the local administrator. Navigate to c:\users\Rishi. Right-click, select properties, and click the Security tab. Click the Advanced button in the lower right corner. Click on the Owner tab and assign the user Rishi as the current owner. Make sure to check the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects option. Once that is done, click on the Permissions tab and assigns full control of c:\users\Rishi to the user Rishi. Again, be sure to click the Replace all child permissions with inheritable permissions from this object option. Depending on the size of the c:\users\Rishi folder, this process can take some time. Do a switch user and login as the user Rishi and make sure that all is working well. If so, switch user back to the local administrator so that you can log off that account. While back as the user Rishi, open up an administrative command prompt again and type net user administrator /active:no to disable the local administrator account (default setting). Another and possibly easier method is to create a new user with administrative rights. Once you have logged in as the new user, you can then move files from the c:\user\Rishi folders to the new user. After you have moved all of the desired files, you can then delete the user Rishi and related profile.
