Lexmark 6170 printer support in Windows 7
In a home office environment with a Lexmark 6170 all-in-one printer and a new laptop with Windows 7 Home edition. Lexmark print driver (cjsx6100EN.exe) is recommended for this configuration although it is acknowledged that the scan feature will not work. That is OK with me. Installed the driver and printer will print one job, leave it in the queue and not "flush" it. Stops all future jobs from printing. Any other suggested driver/configuration options would be appreciated. Stopping and starting the spooler on every print job is not an option. Thanks.

Thanks for your response Andy. I set it up in compatibility mode for Vista as you suggested and it seems to be working. Tried a number of print jobs/applications and nothing gets hung up. I appreciate your help. Happy Holidays.

Hello, I know you posted this a while ago but i wonderd if you could try and explain to me how you managed to set it up in compatability mode as I am having the same problem and I don't quite understand the instructions from Andy Songs post. I have the driver installed but i'm not sure what to do to get the compatibility right. Thanks
