Laptop won't hibernate (running Windows XP Home)
My laptop is running Windows XP home, and it will not hibernate. When it tries to hibernate, it shows that it is "preparing to hibernate" and then it goes back to the desktop as if nothing had happened. It will go to standby just fine, but the laptop loses battery faster that way. It is a real problem, that I need to fix. Also, my laptop seems to be working more slowly than usual. I ran a virus scan as well as a spyware check, but the computer is clean. I haven't recently done anything to the computer that might indicate why this is happening. Please, help! Thanks in advance... 7 people need an answerI do too
