Laptop looses internet connectivity
Hello. My laptop has a weird issue. After reboot it works just fine, however if it looses connection with router several times (aka out of range) or even sometimes ones, next time it connects to it, it will have internet only for a few seconds, then, while still staying connected to it, it looses internet. When that happens at the "Network and Sharing Center" it shows an "X" between router and globe. This has nothing to do with router or wifi card, because it happens with any internet source I've tried, including wired mobile tethering through USB port. Sometimes disabling/re-enabling network card helps, sometimes it helps only for a few seconds, but most of the times only reboot helps. Any ideas what it could be and how to fix this? Thank you. P.S. Hi, First, I suggest boot in Safe Mode with networking to check the result. When starting the computer, keep pressing F8, select Safe Mode with networking. If the issue doesn't occur in Safe Mode, please load the latest network card driver from manufacture's site and install it manually. Then perform clean boot, disable security software and firewall temporarily to check the result. However, if the issue persists in Safe Mode, please bypass the router for testing. If the router is the root cause, please update its firmware or contact manufacture support.
