Lag peaks on wireless
i am using Windows 7 64 bits and Netgear WPN311 wireless for connection.every so often, it stops sending packages. sometimes for up to 20 seconds.i can still receive just fine. but i cannot send back.this problem does not happen with my wired connection, which is identified as "Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller"and i have confirmed that this does not seem to be a hardware problem because this problem does not happen under other operating systems.

So you did or did nothave problems with this driver under x64 Vista? There are many reportssimilar to yourissues on the Netgear support forums, all with Vista x64 and that device, with that driver. The main complaint there seems to be that the driverswere not updated for Vista x64 and were not stable under Vista X64 - Win7 X64 would have the same issues. You may wantto examine those forums for possible troubleshooting steps.http://forum1.netgear.com/There are several links there to beta drivers as well, but I'll leave it to you to follow those. From the Windows aspect, there isn't a lot we can do as the driver is third party. You can run NCPA.CPL, examine the wireless NIC properties, then try to change the settings in order to gain some stability - what options are listed there?
