Lag Time after net use * /delete /yes command
I have been using "net use * /delete /yes" in a script to remove mapped drives. Unfortunately, the credentials seem to persist for about 15 seconds before the credentials are removed. If the user opens the shortcut in those 15 seconds, then the drive mapping sticks and doesn't go away. Is there a way to get rid of this issue? I need the drive mappings gone the instant that command is run. Thank you!

Hi Ian Martyn, Thanks for the post! Are there lot of mapped drives? Do you use some of them when you input the netuse delete command? A little time lag is normal, for example, some mapped network drives need the transmission time, the computer also needs time to adjust the change.
