I don't know if know about it, but when you use LYNC APP from Windows 8 store and try send messages in Polish language there is problem with special letters. For instance when you try write "" you can't. Instead all next letters are with line inside. When you try write "" all text disappear.

Anybody can send this bug to the LYNC APP team?

Did the receiver use Lync app? Did the polish language work in word?

I have tested it for you with Lync app, the receiver use Lync 2013, I can send the letter . The only difference is that I copy the letter from website as I didnt know about the polish letters. So I dont think it is a bug.

You problem may be related with the computer language, please check that on another computer.

I think I should write more about configuration. Problem is in Windows RT on Surface. Surface have Polish language on system and on Office. Lync APP from store is in English (I can't change App language). Problem is only with  letters ", , " (it looks like this letter are working as shortcut, =ctrl z; =strikethrough letter) other letters ",,,,," are working good. All letters in Word are working good. The bug is connected to on-screen keyboard and touch keyboard. If you copy text with polish letters from other app, yes you can send it, you can't test it that way. In order to test please add polish programmer keyboard in Windows and try write polish letter - press letter s and wait, then you will have more option including polish one, or use right alt and letter. 

Lync shouldn't work as I wrote, this is a bug.

I try to install Lync App on Laptop with Windows 8 and check this error. In our company we are using Lync 2010 Server. I can send messages only to people with lync.

jak nie znasz jeszcze odpowiedzi...eby mie liter musisz uy alt+x. Ja te mam problem z w win 8.1 - musisz alt+0347 ( na numerycznym keypad z prawej strony klawiatury).

Cemu Microsoft tego jeszcze nie rozwiza?
