Hi,
I would like to know if you can boot into Windows successfully? What upgrade was installed. What does "all programs" mean? Is it Start -> All Programs option? Does
any program work?
I suggest boot into
Repair your computer and perform the System Restore or choose

After booting into Windows successfully, run System Update Readiness Tool before installing the updates again.

If the issue persists, I suggest installing the update manually for testing. You could find the KB number via Windows Update and download it from Microsoft Download
Center.
Best Regards,
Niki
