Actually i have a computer winxp installed on it and it is connected to a LAN. I m having problem in LAN connection its showing. daily one or 2 times.... and it will show aftr 2 days or one week..thr is no exact time duration , " Loca area connect , A network cable is unplugged so this problem is going on and the status. aftr sme days it will be in another systems I have changed the cable also which is connected to the Switch. switch is working fine because other clients are doing fine. and i changed the port, Cable has been chaged but the problem is still there. and i shutdown the systems and remove power cables and on it aftr 5 mts. everything is ok... so plz give me a solution3 people need an answerI do too

1. First disable the power saving on the network adapter (NIC). Go to Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager. Expand the Network Adapters category and find your ethernet adapter. Double-click it to get its Properties. On the Power Management tab uncheck "Allow Windows to turn off this device when not in use". Test. 2. If #1 doesn't work, update the NIC drivers. Get them from either the OEM's website for your specific model computer if you have that kind of machine (Dell, HP, etc.) or the NIC mftr.'s website. 3.
