LAN Fixed IP assigned in Vista disappeared after reboot or after WIFI usage
Hi, Just to check if anyone has this problem before and has a solution for it. I have several notebooks on Vista. For accessing the company's intranet, these notebooks have to do it via LAN fixed IP. Everything just works fine within the office environment. When users go on the road trip, they will have to switch their notebooks to using WIFI, and there is no problem with that either. However, once the users get back to the office, the LAN fixed IP (as well as the gateway IP) just disappears and has to be keyed in again. This has been happening repeatedly and persistently. I found out that there are more people who have this problem than I thought. Just wonder if there is any real solution for this issue. Any advice that you can provide would be much appreciated.
