Is there a known issue with Windows 7 and MSN Messenger (Latest Version)? I cannot sign in on messenger at all, troubleshoot says everything is fine but i just can't sign in :( Otherwise its awesome :P Thanks, James

A firewall issue perhaps.I had some troubles with Messenger conflicting with other apps, so I changed the Compatibility to Vista, and has been fine since.

If you right click on the application in the start menu, then choose "Properties" you can then select the "Compatibility" tab and enable the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then select Vista from the drop down.www.longneckconsulting.com

Compatibility mode didn't work (Tried Vista and XP)... what else could it be?

Well that rules out a problem with your password :) Are you able to logon to messenger from another machine? One of the other things to try is if you go to the tools menu, then connection, down the bottom there is an option to enable connection logging. you can then try and logon and see what the error is you are getting by looking at the log in the My Documents\My Recieved Files directory.
