Keyboard keeps reverting to US English until I reboot PC

When I turn my PC on, I can type using the UK English, which is my English since I'm in the UK. But, after a while, I go to use quotation marks and find myself tying @ instead because, for some reason, it's moved to American English.

Yet when I go to the keyboard settings, it shows that it's still using UK.

It does this until I reboot, and then it starts again. Heavily annoying. Help would be extremely appreciated.

If you have EN-US, then try delete it and check if problem persist.

Is your location and regional setting set to US or UK?

Hi,

For the issue, I suggest you change the Location Format administrative and time zone settings to check the result. Make sure your system location is English UK.

Then please check the following step:

1. Open Control Panel>Clock, Language, and Region>Region.

2. On the Location tab, select United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, you need to change the following setting:

1. Move up English (United Kingdom) to the top.

2. Remove English (United States).

3. Click Advanced settings at the left side, on the Override for default input method, select English (United Kingdom)-United Kingdom

4. Reboot your system.

Id suggest you remove UK input either then re-add it after a reboot.

Regards,

D. Wu
