Hi,

We are using Windows 8.1 X64 with secure boot and UEFI in our company and having bitlocker enabled together with enhanced pin code. I have spottet that some the external  keyboards are not able to type in the bitlocker pin. Nothing happenes when trying to type the numbers. If I open the lid on the laptop or use either the internal or another external keyboard it Works fine.

The keyboard that doesnt work is for example a Logitech Illuminated. I cant figure out why some keyboards work and some dont. Is it because some drivers needs to be loaded at pin code promt or what?

Run Windows Update and install all updates.

Check their manufacturer's website and install the latest driver and report these issues to them.

Have you tried using the Function keys for their numbers?  I read somewhere that that may be required...

Already did.

I also wrote to Logitech support, here are there answers:

I am sorry that you are experiencing problems with your Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. My name is Jan and I are happy to help with your request.

The reason why your keyboard does not work when you boot up, because your windows does not start drivers during startup but only after windows is started up. What I would advise you is to search the microsoft forum that would like to be a solution to this problem."

funktion keys are dead, also if I hold down the FN key on the Illuminated keyboard everything is dead.

I can't even press the ESC key to enter the recovery key.

Also tried num Lock on or off, but it seems dead as well.
